Long clip processing

Zoea can work with long recordings—a match, livestream, interview, or vlog—and find the moments that matter without you trimming the file first.

This works well for:

  • Sports highlights and goals
  • Livestream best moments
  • Long interview or podcast clips
  • Raw vlog footage cut down to a short edit

How it works

A long clip is too much to watch end to end, so Zoea has a few tools to break it down:

  • Watch video by chunks — review the footage section by section instead of every single second.
  • Transcribe — turn the spoken audio into a timestamped record of what was said and when.
  • Contact sheet — lay out frames across the whole clip as a quick visual overview to spot where things happen.

Zoea combines these tools to scan a long recording fast, narrow in on the sections most likely to matter, and lay the strongest moments on the timeline—where you can trim, reorder, and refine.

Give Zoea extra hints

Zoea only knows what it can see and hear. Sharing a few details gives it shortcuts to the right moments, so the first cut lands closer to what you want:

  • Approximate timestamps — "the goal is around the 38-minute mark."
  • Audio cues — a phrase, a name, or a sound to listen for.
